Critical roles of PPAR(beta)/(delta) in keratinocyte response to inflammation

Article Abstract:

Roles of PPAR(beta)/(delta) in keratinocyte inflammation response are discussed. Immediately after skin injury comes release of inflammatory signals. Using cultures of primary keratinocytes from wild-type and PPAR(beta)/(delta)(super.-/-) mice has been helpful in finding that such signals induce keratinocyte differentiation through influencing TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma.

Large scale transgenic and cluster deletion analysis of the HoxD complex separate an ancestral regulatory module from evolutionary innovation

Article Abstract:

Large-scale transgenic and cluster deletion analysis has been carried out in the HoxD complex and is discussed in this research communication. In the process an ancestral regulatory module was separated from evolutionary innovation. That some functional recruitments rely on appearance or implementation of regulatory sequences outside of the complex is proposed.

Establishment of Polycomb silencing requires a transient interaction between PC and ESC

Article Abstract:

Polycomb silencing establishment has been found to require a transient interaction between ESC and PC. The interaction is seen in preblatoderm embryos. It is not seen at later stages.
