Fur is not the global regulator of iron uptake genes in Rhizobium leguminosarum

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on Rhizobium leguminosarum fur mutants. The authors report that these mutants have been unaffected in iron-dependent operon regulation, and discuss differences and similarities in the Fur superfamily in rhizobia and other Gram-negative bacteria.
