Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the human astroviruses. The persistence of these astroviruses on the on the representative porous and nonporous surfaces has been investigated, and the results indicate that human astroviruses can survive on inert surfaces and that the fomities may affect the secondary transmission of astrovirus diarrhea.

Results demonstraes that hepatitis A viral genome expresses in Escherichia coli leading to the synthesis of 14S pentamers and 70S empty capsids. The antibodies for the 14S and 70S structures recognized the neutralized hepatitis A virus.

Article Abstract:
Research points out that distribution and variability of rotavirus display geographic- as well as a temporal pattern as shown by sewage samples collected from Cairo, Egypt and Barcelona, Spain. Analysis of amplified VP6 gene fragment reveal that, overall, 85.7 and 66.9% of the sewage samples, respectively from Cairo and Barcelona, are positive for group A rotavirus.
