Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to demonstrate that Wnt signaling molecules activate the expression of distinct sets of genes characteristic for cardiac and skeletal muscle cells in mesenchymal adult stem cells (MASCs). The contribution of adult stem cells to the development of IL-4 and NFATc2/c3 mutant embryos was prevented by the disruption of IL-4 and NFATc2/c3 thus depicting the inability of the adult stem cells to fully differentiate into striated muscle in a cell-autonomous manner.

Article Abstract:
The two mouse limb deformity (ld) mutations alleles that causes limb malformations, disrupts the polarizing region and the apical ectodermal ridge, and also the neighboring Gremlin gene, corroborating the requirement of BMP antagonist for limb morphogenesis are investigated. The study reveals that the large genomic landscape harboring global control region (GCR), is required for tissue-specific coexpression of two structurally and functionally unrelated region.

Article Abstract:
Runx2 is crucial for osteoblast differentiation and plays an important role in chondrocyte maturation along with Runx3. Runx2 also regulates limb growth through the induction of Ihh expression.
