Article Abstract:

Booth and Co has merged with Addleshaws, and Dibb Lupton Broomhead has merged with Alsop Wilkington, creating Dibb Lupton Alsop. Other mergers have been considered but there have been obstacles. Law firms are not likely to merge if there are major differences, and acquisitions are an alternative way for companies to grow.
