After the last economic crisis, Brazil is making a slow-but-steady progress. Analysts feel that though the GDP has registered a 3.5 % increase over last year, it still has to make considerable efforts to develop other areas like FDI, high interest rates, and financial policies.

Turkey inches closer to the EU

The Copenhagen criteria is set out by the EU for the accession of Turkey in the EU, after Ankara has met certain political and human rights reform targets laid down by the EU. With more aggressive push on structure reforms, Turkey needs to grow out of its debt trap.
