Belo draws raves despite lower first quarter profits

Going public in 1981 has solved many financial problems for A.H. Belo Corp. Owner of the Dallas Morning News and other broadcasting subsidiaries it is now in a position to make acquisitions. The companies move probably will be in broadcasting but not a over-inflated prices.
