Cell phonecams can make photography an everyday event

Article Abstract:

Expected to be available in 2001, the new phonecams will not only be able to snap phots but also use wireless e-mail to send images over the Internet directly from phones. CMOS sensors seem to be the ideal solution due to the space saving, camera-on-a-chip design possibilities, as well as the low electrical power draw required by CMOS arrays.
