Article Abstract:

The U.S. consider the prospect of a North Korean regime capable of producing more than a handful of nuclear weapons and a big threat on the horizon is the prospect that North Korea could put nuclear devices into the hands of terrorist groups. The Framework and International Atomic Energy Safeguards Agreement has concluded that North Korea might have produced one to three nuclear weapons during the period prior to its nuclear program of 1994.

David Wright, a scientist who studies North Korean military capabilities stated that North Korea's possession of nuclear weapons in potential combination with missiles capable of hitting American territory is irrelevant to the U.S. military. The U.S. intelligence, since years has acknowledged that North Korea may have one or two nuclear weapons and potentially enough raw material for assembling an additional six to eight weapons

North Korean nukes? 'Don't know' means 'likely' - Senator

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Pacific Command opines that the stakes are very high with respect to the possession of nuclear arsenal by North Korea and its selling nuclear weapons to terrorists. Though the U.S. has no knowledge about the possession of nuclear arsenal by North Korea, the Senate Armed Services Committee has warned that the U.S. must regard the prospect as 'likely'.
